Unagi Books: »Traphic« over Europe
As some of you might already know, me and my partner in crime Renko Heuer just released a book called 'TRAPHIC' via Unagi Books. It is a selection of artworks that I created with particular regard to the phenomenon of human traffic which, as we see it, includes the description of and critical reflection on various kinds of networks, means of human transportation, interplanetary colonization strategies, and communication barriers. The book also includes a theoretical essay on the state of these systems surrounding us, but do not expect a conclusion.

While the text is primarily dealing with the macrocosm of our existence, the 'TRAPHIC' artworks themselves display the imaginary artifacts one can find in human microcosms.

On the occasion of this release we already celebrated several launch events across Europe, among them expositions of the original artworks in galleries in Zurich, Milan, Duesseldorf and Berlin, of course.

The fourth launch event/exhibition of 'TRAPHIC' opened on November 21 at GO Gallery in Milan. Bright and spacious GO Gallery offered us three different floors to display a great number of artworks alongside the books, and it felt great to present the results in such a unique setting. Thank you to everyone who joined the opening, and a very special thanks to Daniela and Giorgio. Besides having enjoyed the show so much, we had some great cappuccino too!

The last Exit was held recently in Berlin, After Touring Europe 'Traphic' came home, 'last exit wedding' so to speak.
