Davie, wemoto video editor, showed me this project today. BLAKROC. It is a rap rock collaboration album by Ohio-based blues rock band The Black Keys and several hip hop and R&B artists. The project has been overseen by Damon Dash. Guests include Raekwon, RZA and the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard of the Wu-Tang Clan, Jim Jones and NOE of ByrdGang, Mos Def, singer Nicole Wray, Pharoahe Monch, Ludacris, Billy Danze of M.O.P., and Q-Tip of A Tribe Called Quest. You have to chek their video section (videos by Jonah Schwartz) … Sick!

New “Nieves” book by Geoff McFetridge. It is a small collection of some of the work he has done for Spike Jonze’s film adaptation of the book Where the Wild Things Are.

Seed is a two-minute animated voyage through nature’s life cycle by Johnny Kelly using a mixture of stop motion papercraft and 2D drawn animation. It was commissioned by Adobe to promote the Creative Suite 4. On their Artists website, you can see the work of Nando Costa, work by Genevieve Gauckler & Erik Natzke and Cisma will be added later this month.
