On Wednesday I supported my 97 year old Granny, Marga Spiegel, at the premiere of “Unter Bauern”- the feature film that has come into German cinemas on Thursday.

She just came back from several TV Shows in Germany and from a trip to Israel- presenting her film there at Yad Vashem… One of here biggest wishes… I have explained and mentioned the film enough times here already- but this is pure family proudness, friends!

She is 97, extraordinary, my idol.

She wakes up at 8 in the Morning, goes to press conferences, gets the silver medal of the towns Mayor, signs in the golden book of Münster, goes to the red carpet, followed by emotional times while watching the movie, and to finish off she mingles on stages and after-parties. This is crazy… and yet I wish that she continues like that forever!

I mentioned this before…

My Grandma, Marga Spiegel, wrote a book in 1965 called “Retter in der Nacht”.  Now they have brought it to film, and its coming out in German cinemas under the name “Unter Bauern” on the 8th of October. Veronica Ferres plays my Grandma.

Notorious Filmpremiere… wurde außer Konkurrenz gezeigt…

Es war meine aller erste Filpremiere… ich bin das erste Mal in meinem Leben über einen richtigen roten Teppich gelaufen… ich hätte so gerne Fotos für euch gemacht, aber ich war so verwirrt und unvorbereitet, dass ich wie ein aufgescheuchtest Huhn hin u her… stehen bleiben u laufen… Frau möchte ja nicht durch irgendein Bild laufen…

naja nach dem Film hab ich dann doch noch ein paar Fotos geschossen…
