Petrovsky & Ramone

New work by Ryan McGinley

On thursday 18th of march Team gallery will show new work by  American Photographer Ryan McGinley famous for his boundless landscape youth pictures.

The new exhibition is called Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere and is an all Black and white portrait studioshoot. Over 2 years he found 150 models he casted himself all to awnser his own question “What would a classic Ryan McGinley  black and white portrait look like”

Looking at the preview pics the essence of his pictures is still found in his new work  but in a more subtle way this time.

Even though the sequence of shots in this spread was a bit confusing (modern studio b&w shots intermixed with the Middle Eastern looking location shots) all of the images are stunning. . . I just have such a soft spot for Daria.

Taiyo Onorato (*1979 Zürich) und Nico Krebs (*1979 Winterthur)
studierten Fotografie an der Hochschule für Gestaltung und Kunst in Zürich (ZHdK) und arbeiten seit 2003 zusammen.
