It was supposed to be a great afternoon! The weather was nice and Hertha had never lost when I was in the stadium. NEVER. And even this Sunday it wasn’t the other team we lost against – it was ourselves.

What happened? Check it out here!

After the shock of watching your own team beat itself you start to see the comedic beauty of the situation. Slapstick at its best. There’s nothing else you could do but laugh about it – as sad as it maybe!

The look of losers.

You hang out with friends, go to the game and watch your second favorite team win!

Romes (wearing the Hertha scarf wasn’t that bad after all, right?), me, Schnubs

Herthinhoooooooo!

Hertha won. 1:0 And to all you haters, dissin’ the team: The old lady is still on the NUMBER ONE SPOT!!! What a great afternoon!

Next week Hertha is playing Stuttgart (that game against Bremen on Sunday was simply dreadful!) in Stuggi. I was seriously considering to go. In a way it would’ve been like watching the love of my life hook up with my current affair, and I guess that would’ve been way too strange and way too stressful. So I guess I’m gonna be sitting at some café, totally relaxed because no matter who wins – I win!

Some talent is just god given. Madin Mohammed is only six years old, but watching him is magic! He is hailed as the new Zinedine Zidane who I happen to be in love with (in some way I’m pretty sure that if he knew me he’d feel the same way). Let’s hope little Madin (born in Algeria – just as Zizu – now living in France) stays healthy and down to earth!

What a day, what a game! Kids, I lost my voice, I was screaming, yelling, simply celebrating a great afternoon at the Olympia Stadium. *SOLD OUT* arena, almost 75 000 people, and Hertha won! AGAINST FC. BAYERN!!!! Atmosphere was crazy!

After the game, nobody could really believe, that Hertha is on the number one spot: complete strangers were celebrating together, hugging and kissing each other. I’ve made new friends :-)

And I ABSOLUTELY LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOOOOOOOOOOOVE this:

Thanks to Benny (you have no clue, how I adore my jersey), Gregor and Micha!

I’m mad at the Vfb: could anyone tell me, how you go from 0:2 to 3:3?!?  I couldn’t believe it! Still, it is what it is… wo die Liebe hinfällt…

…was off the hook. Well… at least Saturday. Sunday was… let’s say not so good. And now I’m sick. I guess, that’s what I get.

First: Hertha won, bitcheeeeez!!!! :-) And who’s going into winter break 3rd? Yep, Hertha is! Saturday afternoon, we got picked up from home. Paul was our driver and I must say he was cool as hell.

We got to the Olympiastadium a bit early, so there was enough time to eat. Schööööön Gänsebraten mit Rotkohl und Klößen.

Leeeeecker Essen

We had great seats.

And since Hertha won 4:0, you can tell how I grew happier by the minute!

Thanks to Benni, Gregor and Paul for the great afternoon!

I do not wanna talk about the performance of my beloved VfB Stuttgart. All I’m gonna say is that they were great! They actually deserved to win. But we all know Fussballgott (that unreliable, ungrateful son of a gun and we’re not talking about Jürgen Kohler here!!),  so I guess we should glad about the last second tie, otherwise Bayern would be Herbstmeister!

Back to more pleasant things. After the game, and of course a quick stop at home, we headed to the Peter Fox concert. *SOLD OUT* Columbiahalle!!! Atmosphere was amazing, so was the concert. If you’ve listened to the album you’ll know that drums play a big role in Pierre’s music. So he had Cold Steel with him on stage, four drummers from North Carolina that know their drumming business! I tried to take pictures, shit just turned out waaay to blurry. But, what the heck…. you do get the idea!

The afterparty was fun. But we didn’t stay too long: Still had a birthday to go to! And this is the hot b-day kid! My lovely Joy! Happy B-day, hon!

Joy and I

4 o’clock in the mornin, where we gonna be? Not outside on the corner, but on our way to Cookies to dance. And we did. Skism played and Artoo played. Henne had me dancing for an hour!

I was home at 5.30AM. Tired as hell, already knowing that going out for that long was not a good idea. Turns out I was soooo right. Yesterday was bad already. Today I feel horrible. My throat is soar, my head feels like it’s about to explode. And still. Saturday was a great day and so far I feel like it was worth it. If I have fever tomorrow, I’ll probably curse myself for being that careless, but hey… right now… whatever!
