My Nike stuff finally came! Yaaaay! And boy am I happy! Shoes, shoes, shoes (I admit that my taste in sneaks is pretty one dimensional – dude, I just love Air Max), two jackets and a couple of shirts. Hadi is happy snappy!

With the Bread & Butter Berlin coming up and Berlin Fashionweek beginning tomorrow every woman that is somehow participating in this madness has about a million questions in her head. The most urgent ones being: 1. what am I going to wear? And: 2. Where am I going to go? While I have question number 2 mostly figured out, I have no clue about question number 1.

My dear friend Henne pointed out though, that it would make a lot of sense to pack a pair of sneakers where ever I go, so that I can switch shoes inbetween. Smart guy. So I figured that this is THE PERFECT fashion madness bag:

I got it on Saturday and already know it will save my life this week because my entire household fits in there. Genious!

I had an interesting message on my mailbox yesterday.

“Hey Hadnet, this is Nathalie from Quartier 206. We have new shoes that just came in. I think you’re gonna like the Lanvin, Chloé and and new Roger Vivier. Step by if you want to. I’d be happy to see you.”

With this message it became official. I’m a loser. A big time loser. I have a shopping habit and people notice it! It’s not like I try to hide it, actually I’m very open with my flaws, but THAT message on my mailbox kinda threw me off. Damn. Maybe this is the right time to share this with you:

I gave this to myself as a present a while ago. Bought it, had my initials embossed (Louis Vuitton does that for you) had it wrapped and sit it there for a week. Then I gave it to myself and as you might figure, it was a great surprise. So now I’m totally yuppie and soooo f*ckin pretentious….why am I actually wondering about those messages on my mailbox?

Well, I hope this isn’t a popularity contest. After all it’s about style, originality and being yourself. It’s about representing a certain lifestyle and holding it down for your hood! I’m not from Berlin. But I’ve been living here for 9 years and by now, that’s like one third of my life. So I do consider Berlin home. I rep Wedding, because I love the people, its streets and its swagger! To me, it’s real, rough, raw and yet relaxed. I like Wedding and what I like most about it, is that it likes me back!

A few weeks back I had a shooting for Sleaze magazine. The session was streetwear themed and I got to work with some of my friends. The pictures will be in the March issue…or was it April?! Anyways, some time soon – I’ll let you know, when I find out! The photos were taken by Mark Mattingly at the Kulturbrauerei, styling was done by Marina Gehrmann with clothes by Henrik Vibskov, C. Soooo much has happened in the last couple of days… I don’t even know where to begin.

I met the Pussycat Dolls last week. Yeah, yeah, yeah… Nicole Scherzinger is hot, but really? Not in person. She’s short, wears too much make up and the PCD-stage-outfits are somewhat disturbing. Full of rhinestones… I don’t know, maybe I was mad because I had to wait like 40 minutes for them, just to talk to them for like 6 minutes. Some bullshit if you ask me.

I was home at 5 o’clock in the morning, tired but happy.

TODAY I had a foto shoot for New Era. They are compiling a book they are going to call New Era Berlin Influencers Book and it’s gonna be full of people, that somehow have an influence on this city. I think, they really like my blog, that’s why they asked me to be part of the project

PS: in case you’re wondering about why my pictures look different now: I have a new phone (E71) and was really tired of taking my cell and a camera. Not bad, huh?

No one can really choose his or her family. That’s how you sometimes end up stuck with people that you definitely love, but don’t necessarily like.

I got lucky! I don’t only love my family, I really like them, too. I’m proud of them, *wie bolle*, and even a bit prouder when they, against all odds possible, create something that they really love. This weekend my brother Fidel opened his first own shoe store! The place is called SHUSTA and can be found in Mitte right on Rosenthaler Platz. On Saturday he and his partner, lovely Teddy aka Ted*Star*, had a little house warming party and invited family and friends to celebrate the special occasion!

I love the huge custom made couch in the middle of the store. Our friend Benji did a great job on this one! The thing measures 3×2m.

My favorite things in the room though were these two: My sister Helen and my brother Fidel:
