Sucker for Whitney!

I am. I really am. She was my queen, everything about her was just royal. Seeing her was like an epiphany. She was on the telly and I was mesmerized by her beauty and of course by her voice. Some 14 years later, in 1999, I got a chance to see her live and cried almost through the entire concert even though by that time she was far from the Whitney that was on top of the world in the 80s.

To this day Whitney has sold more than 130 Million albums and is one of the most successful singers of the world. And even though she was a crackhead, did probably more than only crack, ruined her voice forever and seems to be a pretty strange woman in general, I still love her songs. Her Best Of album has been on heavy rotation in the last couple of days. I can’t really tell which song’s my favorite one but when I saw this I fell in love with it.

I still get all teared up when I see it! Call me an old woman but this is the shit! And the dress….damn…that dress!!! Yessir.
